Our Founder
In 2012, while backpacking through Southeast Asia, Claire came face-to-face with the dark reality of human trafficking. What she witnessed, the exploitation of innocent children, was a life-altering wake-up call. She vowed to be part of the change, but at the time, she wasn’t emotionally, physically, or mentally ready. Like so many survivors, Claire had her own traumas to heal before she could stand in her full power and fight for others.
Fast forward to 2024, and that promise has become a global mission. Claire founded The Soul Freedom Movement, a not-for-profit dedicated to building 50 safe havens worldwide for children rescued from sex trafficking. Having walked her own path of healing, she understands that true rehabilitation is more than just safety, it’s about deep, trauma-informed healing, education, and empowerment.
Claire’s vision is bold: not just to rescue but to restore, not just to shelter but to equip survivors with the skills to thrive. Through holistic rehabilitation, financial education, and business training, she is breaking the cycle of exploitation and poverty. As an international speaker and advocate, Claire is rallying changemakers, entrepreneurs, and impact-driven investors to join the fight against modern slavery.

We believe every child deserves freedom, safety, and hope. Our safe havens provide more than just shelter, they are transformative spaces where rehabilitation, education, and reintegration reshape futures. Healing is at the core of our approach, utilising trauma-informed care, breathwork, somatics, and holistic therapies to restore mind, body, and spirit.​

Beyond national curriculums, we equip survivors with real-world skills, financial literacy, business acumen, and entrepreneurship, so they can reclaim their futures and break the cycle of poverty.
